The new engine is bolted to a fully automatic Ultramatic® transmission that makes forward motivation both simple and controllable. It’s mated to the full-house, three-position On-Command® switch feature that lets you move between 2WD, limited-slip 4WD and fully locked differential 4WD - all with a simple push of a button. The YFM550FAP EPS and YFM550FAP EPS SE feature Yamaha’s world-first design electronic power steering, that dramatically reduces steering effort in low speed or 4WD applications. Controlled by multiple sensors measuring speed and steering torque, Yamaha’s EPS delivers just the right amount of assistance – it’s a technical revolution.
